There are lots of types of chickens. Some of the more popular ones are:

Golden Sebrights,Silver Sebrights,Silver Polishs (afro-chicken),Americaunas,Bantams (There are many different kinds of bantams. they are smaller than standard chickens)
The main meat bird is called a Broiler.
